ERGO

The Euthanasia Research & Guidance Organization (ERGO), a nonprofit educational corporation based in Oregon, USA, was founded in 1993 to improve the quality of background research of assisted dying for persons who are terminally or hopelessly ill and wish to end their suffering. ERGO holds that voluntary euthanasia, physician-assisted suicide, and self-deliverance, are all appropriate life endings depending on the individual medical and ethical circumstances.

THE ULTIMATE HUMAN RIGHT OF THE 21ST CENTURY

Whose Life is it, Anyway?

Ours is the human and civil rights cause of this century, just as women’s suffrage was in the 20’s, racial rights in the 60’s, and rights of the disabled in the 90’s. Medical advances have created longer lives and sometimes, ironically, longer and more torturous deaths. While we applaud efforts that seek legislative change, until laws are in place to protect the right of every adult to a peaceful, dignified death, Final Exit Network will be there to support those who need relief from their suffering today.

The Hunger Site

Feed the hungry, fight breast cancer, save the rainforest, promote literacy, and more.

Thus far, I've saved at least 28,000 square feet of rainforest and donated  about 2,770 cups of food to those starving -- all for about 30 seconds a day on line and it's free.
